Data protection

Thank you for your interest in our website. The protection of your personal data is very important to us. At this point we would like to inform you about data protection in our company. We collect, use and save your personal data exclusively in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG) of the Federal Republic of Germany. In the following, we will inform you about the type, scope and purpose of the data collection and use.

You can trust us with your personal data. They are encrypted by digital security systems and transmitted to us. Our websites are protected by technical measures against damage, destruction or unauthorized access.

Subject of data protection

The subject of data protection is personal data. According to Section 3 (1) BDSG, these are individual details about personal and factual circumstances of a specific or identifiable natural person. This includes information such as name, address, email address and telephone number, but possibly also usage data such as the IP address.

General data protection information

You can visit our website without providing any personal information. When you call up our website or download data from this page, information such as the name of the requested file, the date and time of the call, the amount of data transferred, the requesting provider and the message as to whether the access / call was successful is stored in the so-called server -Log files saved. This process takes place anonymously; a conclusion about your person is not possible.

The storage and evaluation of these server log files takes place exclusively to ensure trouble-free operation of the site and to improve our offer. For this purpose, user profiles are created using a pseudonym. A connection between the person behind the pseudonym and the collected usage data is not established. After this use, your data will be deleted. Permanent storage is excluded. You can object to this data collection, storage and processing at any time.

In general, it is not necessary for you to provide personal data in order to use our website. However, so that we can actually provide our services, we may need your personal data. This applies both to the sending of information material or ordered goods as well as to answering individual inquiries.

We collect personal data if you voluntarily provide it to us as part of your order, when you contact us (e.g. using the contact form or email) or when you open a customer account. Which data is collected can be seen from the respective input forms. We use the data you provide to process the contract and to process your inquiries. After the contract has been fully processed or your customer account has been deleted, your data will be blocked for further use and deleted after the tax and commercial retention periods have expired, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use data beyond that is permitted by law and about which we will inform you below. You can delete your customer account at any time. This can be done either by sending a message to the contact option given in the imprint or using a function provided for this in the customer account.

In order to fulfill the contract, we pass on your data to the shipping company commissioned with the delivery, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of the goods ordered. To process payments, we pass on the payment data required for this to the credit institute commissioned with the payment and, if applicable, to the payment service provider commissioned by us or to the payment service selected by you in the ordering process.

If you have given us your express consent to the sending of an email newsletter during or after your order by activating a corresponding checkbox or clicking a button provided for this purpose, we will use your email address for our own advertising purposes beyond the execution of the contract until You unsubscribe from the newsletter.

We also use so-called cookies for data collection and storage. Cookies are small data packages that your browser saves in your device at our request. There they do no harm. They do not contain viruses and do not allow us to spy on them. Two types of cookies are used for this. Temporary cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser (session cookies). Permanent cookies are stored after the end of a browser session and can be called up again when you visit the site again. This type of cookie enables us to recognize you when you revoke your consent after leaving our website. With the help of cookies, it is possible for us to understand your usage behavior for the above-mentioned purposes and to the corresponding extent. They should also enable you to surf our website optimally. We also only collect this data in anonymized or pseudonymized form. You can set your browser so that our cookies cannot be saved on your device or cookies that have already been saved are deleted. If you do not accept cookies, the functionality of our website may be restricted.

Data collection through the use of Google Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc. Google Analytics uses so-called cookies. These are small data packages that are stored on your device and enable your use of the website to be analyzed. For example, information about your operating system, the browser, your IP address, the website you previously accessed (referrer URL) and the date and time of your visit to our website are recorded. The information generated by these cookies about the use of our website is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of our website, to compile reports on website activity for the operator and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage. If this is required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google, Google will also pass this information on to these third parties. This usage is anonym or pseudomized. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

We would like to point out that Google Analytics has been expanded to include the code "gat._anonymizeIp ();" on our website in order to ensure an anonymous collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking). If anonymization is active, Google shortens IP addresses within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area, which means that no conclusions can be drawn about your identity. The full IP address will only be sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there in exceptional cases. Google observes the data protection regulations of the "US Safe Harbor" agreement and is registered with the "Safe Harbor" program of the US Department of Commerce.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of our website to their full extent.

You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of our website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by downloading the browser plug-in available under the following link and install: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

As an alternative to the browser plug-in, you can click this link to prevent Google Analytics from collecting data on our website in the future. An opt-out cookie is saved on your device. If you delete your cookies, you will have to click the link again.

Further information can be found at http://www.google.com/intl/de/analytics/privacyoverview.html.

Use of the social plug-in from Facebook using the "2-click solution"

Our website uses functions from Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA.

You can find an overview of the Facebook plugins and their appearance here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/

In order to increase the protection of your data when you visit our website, the plugins are integrated into the page using the so-called "2-click solution". This integration ensures that when you visit a page on our website that contains such plugins, no connection to the Facebook servers is established. Your browser will only establish a direct connection to the Facebook servers when you activate the plugins and thus give your consent to the data transmission. The content of the respective plugin is then transmitted directly from Facebook to your browser and integrated into the page. By integrating the plugins, Facebook receives the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have a Facebook profile or are not currently logged in. This information (including your IP address) is sent directly from your browser to a Facebook server in the USA and stored there. If you interact with the plugins, for example press the "Like" button, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a Facebook server and stored there. The information is also published on your Facebook account and shown to your contacts there.

The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook as well as your related rights and setting options to protect your privacy can be found in Facebook's data protection information at http://www.facebook.com/policy.php

Earmarked use of data

We adhere to the principle of the specific use of data and collect, process and store your personal data only for the purposes for which you have communicated them to us. Your personal data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent, unless this is necessary for the provision of the service or for the execution of the contract. The transmission to state institutions and authorities entitled to receive information only takes place within the framework of the statutory information obligations or if we are obliged to provide information by a court decision.

We also take internal data protection very seriously. Our employees and the service companies commissioned by us have been bound by us to secrecy and to comply with data protection regulations.

Right to information and right of withdrawal

You will receive information about your data stored by us free of charge at any time without giving reasons. You can have the data we have collected blocked, corrected or deleted at any time. You can also revoke your consent to data collection and use at any time without giving reasons. To do this, please use the contact address given in the legal notice. We are at your disposal at any time if you have any further questions about our information on data protection and the processing of your personal data.

Note that data protection provisions and data protection practices, e.g. B. on Google, Facebook etc. can change continuously. It is therefore advisable and necessary to inform yourself about changes in the legal requirements and practice of companies, e. B. Google, Facebook etc. to keep them informed.
